This post has been composed in order to extend my gratitude to Matsu’s esteemed Legislator Cao Er-jhung. He expended his time and effort on my behalf to extend my stay as an English teacher on Matsu. His efforts included convening a meeting between the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education in Taipei to solve problems surrounding my employment and visa. He personally traveled from Matsu to Taipei to chair this meeting. He was motivated by a desire to promote students’ English education, and I am grateful for his trust in my ability to make a contribution to this.
